Summary
Theme: 2086, the world population is dependent upon a drug called Manna, contained in alterfood.
Those immune to the drug are placed at the apex of power, leading the population towards a sentiment of mass joy, convinced that it consists in physical and intellectual augmentation of any economic, social and anatomical system.
Once the real reason of the project had been discovered, some scientists managed to escape and others were killed. The survivors formed an underground movement called KarmaRadio that tries to save as many people as possible and develop an antivirus for the Manna.
Plot: Felix Navataar is a DJ suspended between fame and a life of maladjustment. Mona Satoshi is a reporter held in captivity by a global network. But their future holds more: strange offerings and unsettling prospects capable of disrupting their whole existences. In a shocking crescendo of revelations about the reality surrounding them, Felix e Mona will have to become aware of their own immunity and decide what to do with it, for their own sakes and that of the world.
